ZG ParkingAlert
A parking payment reminder for Zagreb
About the app
Most parking apps just handle your money. This one protects it from fines.
ZG ParkingAlert is an automated reminder to pay for parking in Zagreb whenever you have to. It's there for every driver, whether you live in Zagreb or just visit now and then.
Set everything up once and forget about it. The app does all the thinking for you.
Reminds you when you park in a paid parking zone
While you can start the payment right from it, its main job is to automatically remind you to pay before you get hit with a fine. Because paying for parking is easy – the problem is remembering to do it every time.
Support for privileged residential permits
If you have a privileged permit for your residential block, the app takes it into account and doesn't alert you in that block.
Automatically remembers where you parked
No need to save your parking location by hand or remember where you left your car. The app remembers its location automatically every time you park.
Works with any car that has Bluetooth.
How it works
1. You park
You switch off the car and your phone disconnects from its Bluetooth.
2. The app checks
Your location, the zone, the charging hours and your privileged permit.
3. Pay with one tap
If you need to pay, the notification opens the payment SMS or a parking payment app. If you forget, you get a reminder.
Features
- Detects parking automatically through your car's Bluetooth.
- Every zone and block in Zagreb, with charging hours and public holidays.
- A privileged permit per vehicle: no alerts in your own block, and a notification when the permit expires.
- Several vehicles, parking history and a zone map.
- Excluded areas, such as your driveway or a shop's car park.
Your location stays on your phone. The app has no user accounts and no servers of its own. The details are in the privacy policy.
Who can use it
The app currently works only in Zagreb and needs Android 10 or newer. An iPhone version is planned.
